POLICIES

TEAM EXPECTATIONS
COMMITMENT
Commit to give your all for each other and your team. Always have a team first attitude.

ATTITUDE
Always have a positive attitude and help your teammates to do the same.

EFFORT
Offer your best physical and mental effort at all times.

TEAM RULES
ACADEMICS
Academics are our first priority. In the event a player is academically ineligible they will be unable to participate in games per the school rule. As a team policy we feel it best the player also does not attend practices during this time to focus on improving their grades.

TEAM FIRST MENTALITY
All players, parents, and individuals involved with the lacrosse program are to have a team first mentality. Treat everyone involved with the team with dignity and respect.

ATTENDANCE
Attendance in season is mandatory. Absences for academic/illness reasons are acceptable and we request a 24 hour notice or doctors/parent note if  possible. Unexcused absences will result in missing one quarter of the next game for the first instance. Second instance will be a half of game. Third instance will be a full game.

PLAYING TIME
Players need to first come to coaches directly over issues involving playing time, Varsity/JV, positions, etc. The coaching staff is going to put the team first in all circumstances.

TEAM GOALS FOR ALL PLAYERS

We want our athletes to learn to compete because we want them to compete for the best opportunities after High School.
-----
We want them to learn how to create and maintain a great team culture because we want them to build their own strong cultures down the line.
-----
We want them to learn to both lead and follow because their leadership will be needed in the future.
-----
We want them to learn to commit and sacrifice because we want them to become responsible adults contributing to the greater good.
-----
We want them to learn to be accountable, selfless, disciplined, mentally tough athletes so as adults they will know how to be positive influences for others.
-----
We want them to learn and demonstrate integrity because many people in their lives will learn about integrity by watching them.
