ABOUT GRAY FOR REBECCA

OUR SPECIAL CAUSE . . .

On February 15, 2014, Rebecca surrendered to brain cancer after a courageous 23-month fight. She was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, and a student at Penn State University. She also enjoyed working at Madden Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Aid, where she touched a lot of people with her kindness, encouragement, and humor.

Rebecca loved to play her sports, and was very competitive at lacrosse, ice hockey, and golf. On the field, she wasn’t the tallest defensive player, but she was fierce to play against, often intimidating her opponents. She was dedicated to her team, showed a great deal of courage during adversity, and had an ability to inspire others to do their best.

Proceeds from the Gray for Becca Lacrosse Tournament are used to help fund various brain cancer research efforts, as well as, a monetary award to benefit a graduating senior who exhibits Rebecca’s dedication and courage.
